Salvation as Knowing God

Lord, it strikes me that in order for your ways, your power to be known... we need you to be gracious, to reveal, to shine. Knowledge of you is a gracious gift.

Everything we are doing here is really about helping people to know you. What if that's how we thought about "salvation", about "being a Christian" – it's about knowing God.

After all, "I will be their God and they will be my people..."
